Hi! I’m a Registered Investment Advisor with over 19 years of combined local and foreign experience across finance, legal, and sales.
I began my career in accounting, where I developed a strong understanding of financial reporting, corporate performance, and the fundamentals that drive business value. My experience across finance, legal, and sales has given me a well-rounded perspective on investing, risk management, and client advisory.
In 2013, I became a Registered Investment Advisor, dedicating my career to helping investors navigate the Colombo Stock Exchange with disciplined research, objective analysis, and long-term investment strategies. Over the years, I have advised retail investors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutions by combining fundamental valuation, technical analysis, behavioural finance, and macroeconomic insights to identify quality investment opportunities.
Throughout my career, one lesson has remained clear: while most people are taught how to earn money, very few are taught how to preserve it, grow it, and make informed investment decisions. Financial literacy is one of the most valuable assets an investor can possess, yet it is rarely part of formal education.
That belief inspired me to create Smart Insights—an educational platform dedicated to empowering investors through market research, practical investment knowledge, and timely analysis of the Colombo Stock Exchange. My goal is to simplify complex financial concepts, promote disciplined investing, and help individuals build long-term wealth with confidence and clarity.
